On Wednesday, Year 12 undertook a visit to Exeter University. It was an aspirational excursion to see what is available, and what life is like for a typical student. Our students had a tour of the campus to see the type of facilities, and looked at general expectation of courses. There were two workshops during the day, looking at their next step – and life at university. It was a great opportunity to gain information, and to talk to undergraduate students.
Exeter University is one of the top universities in the country, and part of the 24 Russell group universities, such as Cambridge and Southampton.
This is part of our wide university programme; we will have several speakers visiting over the next couple of months, in preparation for the beginning of the application process in the summer term.

Remember that university is not the only pathway, and we will focus on the next step for all students throughout the year.
